Escondido weekend

We made a spur of the moment trip to re-charge at Aunt Mary and Uncle Dick's house at Escondido this past weekend and it was truly heaven!
Here are a couple shots I took of Dylan enjoying the views!

Cami and Dylan hanging out on the soft spot in the living room

 Dylan loves her soft spot!
 BATHTIME...
Is more like eat my hands time!
Cami had the most fun running around the backyard smelling all the smells, she was like a different dog this weekend!
We attempted taking a family photo, but it turned out hidious! Next time...
Cami and Dylan loving the 80 degree weather in Jan. while we were waiting on Ryan to make it to the 18th green playing golf!

We had an amazing weekend and can't wait to go back! Thank you Mary and Dick. It was so nice to see a new view outside the window :)
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a beautiful week to come!

Dylan Avery rolls over!

Dylan Avery Hall surprised me the other day while my parents were in town acting like she was ready to roll over, but couldn't get enough traction SO we put her on the carpet and....There she goes! First it was from laying on her back to just laying on her right side, but then she went all the way over to her tummy! I was eating cereal the other morning and couldn't take my eyes off her so when I finally got back to my cereal it was soggy ;) Here are some pictures documenting that in fact at 2 months and 3 weeks old Dylan has rolled over....

 and she keeps rolling.....
 and rolling....
 AND rolling!
Here she is on Tuesday Jan.17th when she rolled to her tummy for the first time!
What's to come...Well, I'm taking Dylan to Black Walnut Cafe tomorrow to meet my tennis friends! This will be Dylan's first lunch at a restaurant and I just hope she doesn't have a meltdown.
Then we are going on Dylan's very first road trip to Austin! Oh Ryan and I can't wait to get out of town and just be somewhere besides our house for a couple days!
Wish us luck!
I'm sure I will have lots to blog about when we return, so until then I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Cari's birthday week!

This week was alot of fun! Busy, but fun!
So let's start off with this adorable picture of Dylan getting kisses in the face from Cami! I know there are people out there they would frown apon this and the dangers of a dog by a baby face, but I'm pretty sure Cami loves "her" baby and would do nothing to hurt her! Besides, I love this picture!

Here is a hand-me-down outfit from a friend Amy and I think Dylan just looks adorable in it! Thanks Amy :)
We have discovered that Dylan needs more traction than on her play mat so we put her on the carpet and she will push her little self all over the place, it is hilarious! Here is Dylan and Ryan having Daddy/daughter time!
Is this not the cutest cellulite you have ever seen?!
She was so over picture time because she is so ready for bathtime! Here she is eyeing her bath mat.
So on Thursday we went to the bank to open Dylan up a savings account! Here she is with her first bit of paperwork to sign! She is so grown up!
Friday, Jan.13th Ryan took me out with some friends to City Center for my birthday! We went to Eddie V's and had the most delish dinner with the Arnim's and Kogers! Thank you all for celebrating with me!

Saturday, Jan.14th (my actual birthday) We ate dinner at home with my parents, my neighbor made the best enchiladas and we grubbed them! Then we had birthday cake with 32 candles! Thanks mom :)

I snapped these two close ups of Dylan Avery and I love them so very much! I just want to kiss all over that face!

I can't get enough of this picture! I think it's great of both of them!
This is Dylan one morning, this is how much she moves around at night. She was straight in the middle of her crib when I put her down.
Mom and Dad came in town to help celebrate/babysit for my birthday! Dad was Cami's favorite snuggle buddy!
 Gran and Dylan
 E-pa and Dylan
 My sweet lil angel face!
Gran and e-pa are so in "awwww" with Dylan! They love her and she loves them!
This is the view from the camera lens right before they left to head back to Fort Worth.
We love you Gran and E-pa!

We have a pretty low key week next week, but looking forward to our first real road trip...We are going to Marshall for a sip and see February 4th then DFW on February 18th!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Dylan Avery is 2 months old!

Hello friends and family! This week was exciting with New Years Eve and Dylan's two month check up and her first round of shots...
New Years Eve we watched the ball drop as a family and Dylan stayed up for the most part, but fell asleep right before midnight :) I got to run a bunch of errands New Years Day which was so much fun and I even got tinsel in my hair!

Monday, Jan.2 was pretty un-eventful. We just hungout around the house and dad played golf because he had off work. I love these polka dot pants and these pictures don't do them justice on how stinkin' cute they are!

Dylan LOVED doing laundry with me! I turned the dryer on with her on top and she was all giggles!
Tuesday, Jan.3 Today was the big day...2 month check up day with shots. Dylan did so good, mom not so much! Thank goodness dad came with us! Tuesday night wasn't great, but her little legs were hurting and I don't blame her for crying and wanting lots of snuggles!

A great thing came out of the doctor appt....Dylan now sleeps in her crib without the bouncy seat or bassinet, just like a big girl! She truely is the best girl.
Because we were told to stop the swaddle and we do what we are told...this is how Dylan ends up in the morning, she is such an active baby even in her sleep!
Are you kidding me with this face! This face warms my heart!

 I just love this bundle!
Saturday, Jan.7 We had some play time this morning and it was great fun for us all...well,maybe not so fun for Cami (the pink puppy scared her to death) Dylan loves her dancing pink puppy!
Good Morning sunshine!
Tomorrow I am going to try to fit working out back into my schedule. We will see how that goes. It's tough after many, many months of not even being able to walk around the neighborhood to get motivated to get back on track, that and I would so much rather spend my "free" time with Dylan not the treadmill but I know I need to get it done for my sanity!
Next week is my birthday and Gran (my mom) will be coming in town and I can't wait!
I'll post birthday pictures next week....Have a blessed day everyone!
