Houston rodeo time!

This week Ryan and I went to the Houston rodeo to see Blake Shelton play! It was awesome and I have to thank my parents for coming in town to Dylan-sit!

Love this TCU purple headband that Great aunt Mary gave  Dylan!
She is growing up so fast! Dylan loves her bouncy saucer now...We still have to put a pillow under her feet because she can't reach the floor yet!
Dylan and Harper at play group. Harper was trying to rock Dylan to sleep...as you can see Dylan wasn't having it! HA

Sisters from play group and their darling children
Lesli Hirsh and my sleeping angel! Love this picture of the both of them!

Other than the pictures above our week was just super busy running around getting ready for a super fun weekend! Dylan and I are heading to Fort Worth for a cousins weekend!!! Yay :) Dylan and I, cousin Lindsey and her two cuties Adeline and Annabel, and my cousin Jessica and her bundle of joy Judd! We are going to have so much fun and I am looking forward to it. Dylan Avery is 4 months old!!!

Yay! Dylan is 4 months old today!
Love the dachshund onesie that cousin Pam made!
Pep and Papa came to visit for a couple days and we had a fun time...Lots of sun, walks, and I got to run lots of errands!

The doc said it was time to practice with rice cereal and not from a bottle...so here is Dylan's first taste of rice cereal from a spoon. She left more on the bib then she got in her mouth :) But it was fun!
 Yum Yum Yum!
Dylan Avery out shopping with mommy and daddy at Bass Pro for her first pistol.
My little Annie Oakley
A girl must match her accessories with her outfit!
Our first turtle of the season in our backyard...got some bugs from the bushes then headed on.

We had a wonderful week and weekend! Lots of new things happening and we love it!
Dylan is 4 months old and here are her stats...
Circumference of her head- 16"
Height- 26"
Weight- 13lbs 12in
She is bearing weight on her legs and loves to stand up with help! She is still rolling from back to tummy, but hasn't gotten the hang of rolling back from tummy to back. We do sit ups where we hold hands and she pulls up into a sitting position! She is so strong and doc says she is going to have advanced motor skills! Yay :)
Oh and you may have noticed she got the hang of the paci!!! We worked hard on that because mom and dad like the idea of paci rather than thumb! Plus,I think she looks so precious with the paci in her mouth! HA
Lots of Love,
Cari and Dylan
