Play dates and birthdays!

We have had a very busy week! Lots of fun and new things to discover...
Love this picture...Mrs.Dodd(my 5th grade teacher) sent Dylan this buck teeth paci :)
Yay! I found the dog food....
A friends daughter really wanted to hold Dylan, this picture cracks me up. Look at the little girl and the fear in her face and Dylan is just so happy! HA
Dylan loves Ann O'neill who watches her on some Fridays so I can get a couple hours to myself.
Saturday was Jett Gilbert's 1st birthday! The kids loved Jett's playroom! There were so many toys Dylan didn't know what to do!
 Cake smash!!!
 Future FROGS!!! Jett, Harper,and Dylan
 Go Frogs!!!
After mother's day brunch we had Lesli,David and Harper over for playdate...So cute!
Do you think we should babyproof yet or buy her a Gucci bag?! HA
"why yes, I am pulling up at 6 months"....
Dylan playing with ALL of Cami's toys...she pulled them all out herself!
Dylan had to get a flu shot and I didn't want to do the shot with the other 6 month shots so I had to take her the next week. She did awesome! Barely cried at all. Then mommy had to get a treat because she hates to see her baby in pain ;) Starbucks!
 Dylan and Mitchell
He is our neighbor and this is the first time to get them together. I didn't get a picture of it,but my favorite moment of the playdate was they were both crawling racing toward a vase. They looked like little hermit crabs!
Mitchell will be a year old next week. Can't wait to go to his birthday party!
I love how she is interacting with others now! Her little personality makes me giggle.

Marshall and Jewel's birthday

On Tuesday we went with Ryan to Marshall to visit his parents and so he could go to a work meeting in Louisiana. We had fun visiting Pep and Papa... Dylan went swimming and even went to a ladies lunch to celebrate Jewel's birthday.
Here is Dylan in her princess ruffle onesie! She is watching Sparkabilities...

 Dylan just loves the water!

Here is Dylan and her great grandmother Jewel celebrating her 84th birthday! I just love this picture.

Mrs. Dodd gives the best gifts! We got redneck buck teeth in the mail today! This is the cutest paci ever :) Thank you Mrs. Dodd!!!
Dylan is getting so mobile she finally discovered Cami's food bowl. Thank goodness her mouth was busy with the paci and no food made it to her mouth! Whew...gross!

We are so tired from all the fun and the 5 hour drive home! This weekend we are taking things easy and not getting in the carseat at all! Can't wait to celebrate my first mother's day with my precious angel!

Dylan's first swim!

Wow! Time got away from me and I realized I had not done any blogging last Sunday.
I had busy mommy time week with lots of CAbi,Southern Hippie and bunco parties!

Here is sweet Dylan Avery waking up from her first sleep in her crib UPSTAIRS! She did so good, especially since it was the first night after her 6 month shots and no Tylenol before bed that night...My baby is growing way too fast!
Here she is taking toys from her bumbo seat up on the fireplace ledge and playing with them...
My favorite book as a child,Monster at the end of the book is animated on iphone!
Yes! This is Dylan trying to stand up in the full length mirror at 6 months!

On Thursday May 3rd Ryan,Dylan,Cami and I met my parents at Escondido for a much needed weekend away! We had such a blast and Dylan went swimming for the very first time and LOVED it so much!
Here she is helping Gran and mommy cook enchiladas for Cinco De Mayo!
I just love this face...

Dylan Avery in her Matilda Jane tank!!! Adorable

Love this picture and look at Cami's face. It's like she is saying "Why am I even in this picture,I'm not the favorite anymore anyway." Sweet puppy!

Dylan's first time in the pool...
 We have a water baby!
Like she had a choice with me and Ryan as her parents...We are always around some body of water!
She liked to splash and splash then stick her fingers in her mouth, I think she liked the salty water taste. The pool was salt water, not chlorine!

These last two are my favorite! Don't you just want to squeeze her.

We left Escondido on Sunday and made it back to Katy with no drama! I did have to sit in the backseat most of the way home though.
Tuesday we leave for a work/grandparent visit to Marshall. Ryan has work in Louisiana and Dylan hasn't seen Ryan's parents in a month so we are making the drive with him. The 5 hour drive should be interesting. I'm sure we will get into all kinds of trouble in Marshall so I will blog after we return!
