 Gran and E-pa came to visit for a couple days because they went to a cousins wedding in College Station. So glad they drove the extra hour and a half to come see us!

 Yes, she is walking my just holding on to fingers now! Such a big girl :)

 Wednesday we had a photo shoot and Dylan's friend Braylan (my friend,Dana's daughter!) got to ham it up for the camera! I am in love with Braylan's red hair!!!

This week has been so busy, but even more fun!!! Can't wait for the weekend so we can all play as a family! Each day Dylan is learning and trying new things and she makes me smile everyday!

Splish Splash I was takin' a bath!

I took a series of bath time pictures last night because it had been a while and she was having so much fun as soon as I pulled out the camera I just snapped away and then couldn't decide which one to put on the blog. SO here are each one from the series!

This picture is my favorite! The happiness on her face I wish I could bottle and sell. Not a care in the world and having the BEST time with bath toys! I love her to pieces!!!

 I can't believe I actually captured this moment! When she gets really excited she does this face and gasps for air. It makes me smile and laugh each time she does it!

 The next two are of Dylan Avery discovering her reflection in the run off drain.

It made her giggle. Reminded me of being a child and seeing myself in the shiny reflection!

Each night is a blast! I can sit there forever just watching her play with her bath toys. She can be having the worst day and so fussy until I get her in that water and she comes alive! I think this night we had a 30 min bath time :) I hope this never gets old.

Summer time fun!

 Haha splash pad didn't last long for either of them, they were more interested in crawling/walking around on the slick wet ground around them...danger! So we swam in the tub!

 This brings a whole new meaning to "sharing"! Cami is so sweet to let Dylan borrow her crate!

 Dylan is so laid back and relaxed ALL THE TIME and I have NO idea where she got that from?!

Below are two examples of her relaxation...

 This past weekend, July 13-15 we met Jason, Reagan, and Mallie at Escondido. It was so much fun and the girls played so well together! I think mine and Dylan's favorite part was swimming in the baby pool at the lake club :)

Dylan loves to swim! She will even put her face in the water :) I am so proud of my little girl and love her more and more each day!!! Summer, summer, summer- time has been a blast so far and a heck of alot better not being on bed rest ;) HA.

Dylan Avery is 8 months old!!!

I just can't believe Dylan Avery was 8 months old on June 30th!!!

I'm not sure on weight and height because we haven't had to see the Dr. since 6 month shots!

We feel so blessed and lucky to have such amazing family and friends all around us! Dylan already has done and seen so much and I get excited every day thinking of all the memories we are making!

 This past weekend we road tripped it to Fort Worth for Glenn's promotion to Colonel in the Army,Merle Haggard at Billy Bob's,TCU intro into the Big 12 pep rally, and lots and lots of fun with family!

Whew! This weekend was fun and very busy!!! Wish we could have stayed in Fort Worth longer,but we had to get back to Katy and get ready for Fourth of July fun on Wednesday!!!
