Harper's Birthday party and such!

It's March 18-24, 2013 and at the beginning of this week we found out that Ryan not only got a promotion at work, but we are also moving to DALLAS!
I can't wait to get closer to family! It breaks my heart to leave all of these amazing friends we made here, but I will just say "see you later" not "bye" because we will be back to visit! Besides, because of social media and FB now I feel like I can be a part of all lives through that!

Here the adults went to our favorite, Perry's Steakhouse for a celebratory dinner!
I decided to be REALLY crafty this week and weekend and tried to do all the pinterest crafts I could!
Here is one of them that I made for Dylan to give to her classmates at preschool.
Saturday was Harper Hirsh's 2nd Birthday party!!!
It was at Inflatable Katy and what a party it was, the kiddos had a blast!

Dylan Avery is 16 Months Old!

I can't even believe how fast my baby is growing up! Everyone says enjoy it because it goes by fast and I have taken in and enjoyed every minute of this time I have with you, Dylan Avery!

Dylan Avery at 6 months old...

Dylan Avery at 16 months old...

What Dylan is doing at 16 months?

*She sleeps at night from 8pm-8am
-there are nights she wakes us up, but I think her molars are hurting her

*Naps once a day, but they are long ones! Sometimes I can get 3 hours out of her.
12:00-3:00

*She is a super picky eater, but loves snacks.
Everyday is different with what she will eat. She loves juice and warm milk and she drinks a ton of water, which makes this momma happy!
She is already addicted to chocolate or any sweets for that matter. She can open the pantry and open the ziploc bag of M&M's or kisses and will stuff them in as fast as she can. If they aren't reachable then she will open and stuff dog treats in her mouth...ick!

*Weighs 23 pounds (I think)

*Wants everything HER way and if it doesn't go her way she throws a fit with crying and screaming! Sometimes I can't help but laugh because it serves me right.

*Starting to do alot of talking that we can understand and I love it!
Her most used words are:
-Dadda
-Momma(sometimes, but not near as much as daddy which makes me bonkers!)
-Ice(which was her first "real" word)
-NO!
-Duck
-Wow
-uh oh

*Her favorite toys are balls.
Tennis balls, Basketballs, Golf balls, Plastic balls of all shapes and textures.
And when she can get her hands on it, my Ipod.

I look forward to all the other memories we make in the future.
You have taught me so very much! I love you.

Lots of Love,
Cari and Dylan

Is it SPRING time already?!

The weather has been SO amazing that we do everything we can think of to be outside!
Here is Dylan's first experience with finger painting...I think it was a success because she had a blast and I got some awesome artwork to hang up!

It was tough on this OCD mom to let her get this paint ALL over her and everything else, but I am starting to let things go a little and reminded myself that it can wash off :)
 YAY! I'm covered in paint!

Dad came out and saw all the paint on the driveway and decided it was time to clean up.
She was done painting anyway...

She is such a good cleaner upper!
These are her paintings and some of my favorites!
The one on the far left is the one we did together.

 RODEO DAY at school!!!
Oh my gosh I was so excited about this day! They not only all dressed up like cowboys and cowgirls, but the school brought in a petting zoo! What fun :)

The next few pictures are of Dylan after I picked her up...I think she had a great day from the expressions on her face!!!

We (Dylan,Cami and I) go on walks around the block daily!
It's been so beautiful outside and we love the exercise.
I posted on Facebook that this is my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything
and I totally mean it!
I love these two.
Oh and this...because it's completely normal to take frozen grapes in the bathtub, right?!

Today March 19, 2013 we found a dandelion and THIS was Dylan's first dandelion experience...
She ate one!
Also on March 19, 2013... Dylan went down for her nap after taking a sippy cup of warm milk instead of a bottle! She is growing up so fast.
My baby isn't a baby anymore, but a toddler that uses sippy cups.

I fall in love with you more and more each day Dylan Avery! You are the best thing that has happened to me and your daddy.
We love you so much!

Now we are completely caught up on our blog...Next up on our calendar is Harper's 2nd birthday party at Inflatable Katy, then Easter and after that...who knows what fun we will get into!
Lots of Love,
Cari and Dylan
