Playing a little catch up!

 

Have I REALLY not blogged since EASTER?! Yikes, I need to get on the ball :)

With all this moving stuff I have been a little busy!

Yes, for those of you who don't know we are moving! Found out a little before Easter and since then we have been searching for a home and found one that is just right North of Dallas in a city called The Colony. It's quiet and nice and we love the neighborhood!

We will be sad to leave this neighborhood,but we will be back to visit!

Here we are on one of our many walks!!!

 I love that Dylan has Cabbage Patch Dolls like I did when I was young! I have to say, they aren't the BIG deal they used to be though.

 Ladies lunch with Amanda and Lola Perches at Lupe Tortilla!

 I saw this somewhere and I love it! I will share this with Dylan one day!!!

 Oh how happy is this one on picture day!!!

 On April 6th Rylander Elementary by our house had a carnival and we all had so much fun!

Dylan got to ride ponies and eat shaved ice for the first time...

This is her expression after her first bite!!! Mine was the same when I had Bahama Mama for the first time too little one :)

 She loved the pony ride and screamed when it was over.

 Getting ready to show the house is hard work...here she is helping Dada trim the bushes!

 Oh yes, one day I was cleaning up around the house and came out of my room and this is how I found Dylan. She wasn't scared at all...oh my!

 Gran bought her this precious outfit from Persnickety! This and Matilda Jane MIGHT be my two favorite clothing brands for little girls!!!

 At Dylan's church school they hatched chickens, it was so fun watching this miracle happen!

 She is serious about drinking at the golf club!

 We start them driving early in our family!!!

 LOL! You may have seen this blue glove in past photos...This little glove was an obsession for a while! One of the trainers at the YMCA gave it to her and she wanted it at all times!

I don't know what happened to it?!

 I think this picture looks like me when I was a little girl!

Dylan is so happy and that makes me smile! I want to bottle up this happiness and give it back to her when she is in high school!

 After our baby goes to sleep, Cami takes full advantage of my lap and I don't mind at all!

Dylan's class planted bean seeds around Easter... Here it is starting to sprout!

 She is such a multi tasker!

 Friday April 19th 2013

Gran,Dylan and I went to Main St. Art Festival in downtown Fort Worth!

It was so much fun and I got some great finds :) We then ate at Magnolia Cheese Co. which was amazing I might add! It was the best day and I look forward to lots of these days once we move back to the DFW area!

 On Magnolia Street they have tree/pole warmers and Dylan fell in love with this one!

I kinda liked it too :)

 On Sunday April 21, 2012 We pretty much found our new home in DFW!

Aunt Stephanie,Warren,Gran, mom, dad, and Dylan all went out to check it out and go eat at the yummy cafe down the street!

 Back in Katy on another one of our daily walks...we discovered MOSS!

 I have my very own Cee Lo Green! :)

 While packing up the house and purging all the stuff we don't need to move into the new home, I started finding old pictures and these brought back wonderful memories!!!

 Today we were out most of the day while they did showings on our house. That evening we met our small group for a social outing at Clay's restaurant where they have not only food,but sand pit,a peacock, horses, bunnies, and chickens!

Next time you hear from me we will probably be moving soon, I will try to get one last blog from this home in Katy before we leave.

HOPPY EASTER! Warning...It's long!

 

We started Easter a little early when Dylan Avery picked out a bunny at the grocery store!

 In honor of Easter I'm re posting Dylan at school for rodeo day with her bunny!

 The Easter Bunny sent us a letter in the mail!

 Because my cousin has these for her girls, I had to pick some up for Dylan...I should have swished the water around a little,but her bathwater was hot pink from these colored tabs :) She loves it!

 Dylan's teacher snapped this for me. She is so ready for spring!

I went buckwild on crafts the last two weeks and had a blast doing it all!

These were for Dylan's classmates at Preschool...

 and these cute bunnies were for her teachers and the little ones we playdate with!

 I made these for Dylan and her nephew, Warren. Felt eggs

 "You've been EGGED"

I love this concept!!! You tape a sign that says "you've been egged" on a friends door and toss filled eggs into the yard. If they are home, knock and run! Or just wait until they come home and find this fun surprise!!!

 Bleach pen art on t-shirts!!!

 They turned out just how I wanted,except one gray one that didn't bleach at all.

 Then there were recipes I loved trying!

 She must have heard somewhere that a HUGE block of dark chocolate will give you energy when your tired...I can't blame her, she comes from a LONG line of sweet eaters!

 March 29,2013 Good Friday we drove to Fort Worth for Easter and

 so that Ryan and I could do a little house hunting.

This was Sunday morning...EASTER!

 We started the morning so goofy...

 and with lots of chocolate before breakfast :)

 The Katy Easter bunny brought her a lion puppet!

 OH the excitement!!!

 Nothing like eating cookies in your jammies!

 This was another craft I made and filled with beautiful flowers from my mom's flowerbed!

 Sunday afternoon we all drove to Dallas to celebrate

with Dylan's other set of Grands, Aunt, and nephew!

 Dylan was a egg hunt wiz!

 But we have been practicing!!!

 Dylan and Warren had a blast on their FIRST egg hunt! We all had even more fun watching them :)

 LOL! On the drive back to Katy on Monday we past Jimmy Houston and his driver. It was hilarious because Ryan was going bonkers and telling me all about him. I couldn't remember who he was UNTIL I pulled up a picture and saw this man who I used to watch with my dad during those boring fishing shows! HA 

 After we got home Dylan, Cami and I walked down to check the mail and see the ducks...The ducks weren't there,but dozens of turtles were and they were hungry!

 So today I cut up some healthy snacks to feed them this afternoon!

 Geez! Everyone is pulling out all the stops now that we are moving. We have been here for almost 4 years and this is the first time HEB has ever done this with their cheese and handed it to Dylan!

Dylan doesn't like cheese,but I took it anyway because it was so cute!

CHEESE!!! Hee hee

 

Hope everyone had an amazing,blessed Easter and got to spend time with family. I am so glad even though it wasn't our original plan we got to spend it with family and we all had so much fun,ate WAY too much, and got home safe!
